SUMMARY:Cap Transition à Louvain-la-Neuve
DESCRIPTION:Du Lundi 26 février au jeudi 1er mars\, le FIFEC (Festival International du film documentaire sur  l’Eau et le climat) et les kots à projets UCL engagés dans le développement durable s’associent pour monter ensemble un nouveau projet ambitieux\, ouvert à tous les publics\, et résolument orienté « solutions. » \nEntre images exceptionnelles\, documentaires\, rencontres-débats et expertise universitaire\, le FIFEC sensibilise le plus grand nombre aux problématiques liées à l’eau et au climat\, déterminantes pour l’avenir de l’humanité. \nLes films sélectionnés pour cette édition reflètent plus que jamais les préoccupations des cinéastes face aux enjeux de l’Eau et du Climat sans tomber dans le catastrophisme. Que ce soit l’érosion de la barrière de Corail\, la pollution des océans par le plastique\, ou encore la résilience et l’adaptation de peuples insulaires aux menaces climatiques\, les regards portés par les cinéastes sur ces questions essentielles à la survie de l’humanité ne laisseront jamais les spectateurs indifférents. Chaque film documentaire\, à sa manière apporte soit une solution\, soit un encouragement à agir. Durant quatre jours\, réalisateurs et chercheurs apporteront leurs témoignages en complément des films projetés et engageront le dialogue avec le public. \nParallèlement\, les kots à projets (KAP) de l’UCL engagés dans le développement durable développent un programme d’activités créatives et engagées durant ces 4 jours de Festival.  Dans un chapiteau installé sur la Grand-Place se succèderont les animations de sensibilisation aux questions écologiques\, les ateliers zéro-déchet\, un défilé alternatif\, un point de collecte de vêtements et de piles usagées\, un repair café\, des moments de rencontres entre acteurs de la transition… sans oublier les propositions gourmandes\, végé\, bios et locales ! \nCap ou pas cap de faire la différence seul et ensemble ? Durant cette semaine\, La MDD et des acteurs de la ville\, vous invitent à 4 rencontres citoyennes pour prendre un temps (1H30) ludique et participatif pour mieux se saisir de notre réalité locale et se proposer de nouveaux défis d’actions favorisant la transition vers une ville moins polluante\, plus verte\, plus conviviale et plus autonome à un niveau alimentaire et énergétique. \nVenez nous rejoindre tous les après-midi du lu. 26 fév. au Jeu. 1 mars\, dans un chapiteau sur la Grand Place d’LLN. \n\nAlimentation et agriculture : lundi 26/02 16H30\nQuartier durable – ville de demain – vivre ensemble :  me. 27/02  16H30\nVille neutre en carbone-énergie-climat :  mer. 28/02  18H\nNature en ville :  jeudi 29/02  18H

DESCRIPTION:1st March 2018 (09h00-16h30) \nVenue: Brussels\, The Residence Palace (Rond-point Schuman) \nThe Global Nature Fund\, the Belgian Federal Public Service for Health\, Food Chain Safety and Environment\, Université catholique de Louvain and IPES-food invite you to an exchange of ideas around food sourcing and biodiversity. \nAre you seeking to improve your supply chain for sustainability? \nAre you interested in improving biodiversity criteria in your standards or sourcing guidelines? \nAre you a scientist working on agriculture and biodiversity? \nAre you a policy maker in this field? \n Then\, this event is for you! \n\nThe morning session will provide\n\nan overview of project results funded by the Belgian federal administration on a tool that aims at providing recommendations on sourcing while respecting biodiversity.\nnew recommendations issued by the LIFE Food & Biodiversity project on effective biodiversity criteria for standards and labels for the food sector.\n\n\nThe closed afternoon session will be entirely dedicated to technical workshops in order to get feedback and advice on these projects in order to insure they meet existing needs and realities.\n\nYou can find the full program here\, as well as background documents for the meeting which will be uploaded in due time. \nThe discussions will be held in English and a lunch will be provided at the end of the morning session. \nAttendance is free\, but prior registration is required. Please fill out the registration form here. \nRegistrations are open until February 16th. Participation in the afternoon sessions is restricted to  participants with a demonstrated interest in the field.
